A clean white Taekwondo uniform should be worn during the
classes. |
| If you already have a white taekwondo/karate uniform or judo uniform,
you can wear it. You do not have to purchase the uniform with a Moogong-ryu
patch. If you want, you can purchase flag patches (US flag and Korean
flag) and/or Moogong-ryu patch separately. |
| Location of the patches
(patches are optional):
|
Instructors and high ranking students (dark blue belt (2nd
gup) and up) may wear black uniforms. |
| Either V-neck uniform or traditional style uniform is
acceptable. |
| Moogong-ryu logo patch (guardian of peace) should be worn on
the front left chest. Generally, American flag goes on the
right side upper
arm and Korean flag goes on the left side of upper arm |
| Korean flag has a red and blue color representing the
yin-yang energy of the universe; the red should go upward and blue go
downward ("think the symbol as red sun and blue ocean"). Do not
wear the flags upside down. |
Belt should be tied properly. Click the link to see the
illustration. (How to tie a belt)
Students are encouraged to ask instructors or assistants to show how
to tie a belt. |
